The RIFCON Test Facility has been included in the national Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Compliance Programme since 2006.
It is certified in categories 4 (environmental toxicity studies on aquatic and terrestrial organisms), 5 (studies on behaviour in water, soil and air; bioaccumulation), 6 (residue studies) and 7 (studies on effects on mesocosms and natural ecosystems).
Our Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) audits study plans, raw data, final reports and creates and audits standard operating procedures (SOPs) to guarantee compliance with the principles of GLP.
Critical phases of studies conducted in the field and the laboratory as well as the Test Facility itself are audited by our team. Furthermore, our QAU team is well experienced in organizing GLP field and laboratory studies as well as Test Facility organisation. Our Test Facility (including archives for long-term storage of GLP data and retain samples) is inspected by the competent Federal GLP monitoring authority on a regular basis to ensure continuous GLP compliance.
Furthermore, we provide GLP education, advise and support to GLP personnel and to study monitors.
