RIFCON develops comprehensive strategies for the investigation and assessment of the environmental fate of your product or active substance – from the collection of essential field data under GLP to their evaluation and inclusion in registration dossiers or expert statements.
Our expert team conducts substance- or product-specific data collection, including field studies on spray- and dust drift that may occur during the application of your products. Both drifts represent potential routes of exposure for bees and other non-target organisms to chemical residues. We use a variety of adapted vertical and horizontal sampling methods specifically developed for different drift scenarios.
Furthermore, we offer monitoring of Europe-wide studies on the degradation and behaviour of chemicals in the soil. RIFCON’s services also include monitoring studies on genetically modified crops. In addition to potential effects on flora and fauna, these studies evaluate how fields with genetically modified crops are used as habitats by animals and non-crop plants.
During the planning of field studies, data analyses and the use of the results, our experts work closely with the regulatory teams (environmental fate, ecotoxicology, and effect modelling and statistics).
